He’s not a friend from you

Don't Say: "friend from me"

Don't worry, he's still your friend. But you're using the wrong preposition. When talking about friends, we use the preposition OF.

Also, don't use the normal pronouns like me, you, him, etc. Instead, use the possessive pronouns mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, and theirs.

For example:
How many friends of yours were at the party last night?
Did you see Tina? She's a friend of mine.
I've known Tim for a long time. He's a friend of the family.
